Apparently, the player s agent has confirmed that the negotiations between the two clubs are in their final stage. The transfer fee has been set at $10 million with the Mexican side to keep 20% of his economic rights, and Rodriguez will sign a contract making him a Betis player for the next four and a half years.
The 25-year-old Argentinian is a midfielder with primarily defensive duties. His professional career started with River Plate back in 2014. Since then, he has also played for Defensa y Justicia and Tijuana, before joining America in the summer of 2017 for around $7 million. This season he has played in 22 games, finding the opposition net on three occasions.
